Attention: pedestrian signs have coloured stripes in the order „white-coloured-white“. Do not confuse this with the „yellow-colour-yellow“ cyclist markings.

Description of the routes

11,1 km

Set out following the intrinsic marking round the church and the town hall to the pedestrian crossing. Turn left following the blue tourist marking (against the current of the river Svratka) and along the football ground. Cross over the foot bridge following the blue marking, through the borough of „Kninicky“. We continue still along the blue marking, following the road in the direction of the village of „Jinacovice“, we turn right and pass through the valley under the mount „Mnisi hora“. The blue marking continues to the left (2,5 km), but you should keep walking straight, following the intrinsic marking along the gardens to the crossroad, where we continue on the „panel“ road until we reach the marking of the cycling route No. 5005. You can see the airport „Medlanky“ on the right hand side. When you enter the borough of „Medlanky“, you will get to the checkpoint K1 – „Medlanky airport“ (4,7 km). Follow the yellow marking towards the right to the ridge of the hills „Medlanske kopce“. Turn right, following the green marking, which will lead you to the bank of Svratka River. Cross over the bridge and reach the restaurant „U Klimesu“. Then turn right, following the yellow marking (against the river current) to the march destination

21,1 km

Set out following the intrinsic marking round the church and the town hall to the pedestrian crossing, where you can see the yellow tourist marking. Follow it towards to the left and ascend to the dam „Brnenska prehrada”. Turn right following the red marking along the bank of the lake all the way to the restaurant „Princezna”. Turn right following the green marking, going up to the village called Rozdrojovice. At the crossroad „Nad Rozdrojovicemi” turn left and following the blue marking, go all the way up the mount „Trnuvka”. Then turn right following the green marking all the way to the village called Jinacovice – checkpoint K3. Then the red marking will lead you to the checkpoint K2 – Pod Sychrovem. Then following the yellow marking go to the crossroad „Pod Chocholou”. Turn righ following the blue marking through the crossroad „Nad Kopaninami” which will lead you to the borough „Brno – Kninicky”. Behind the bridge turn left and following the current of the river, you will get back to the march destination.

31,8 km

Set out following the intrinsic marking round the church and the town hall to the pedestrian crossing, where we start following the yellow tourist marking. Continue to the right (following the current of the river Svratka), along the supermarket Lidl all the way to the crossroads „Bystrc – Letna”. Turn left following the green marking, cross the bridge and start ascending the hill along the mine on the border of the neighbourhood Komin. Then continue on the green marking under Strelecky hill – the green marking contours also Medlanecky hill. You can climb one of the hills if you feel like it – the views are amaying. Then descend steeply to the neighbourhood Medlanky, along a playground to the round-about. At the round-about, follow the blue marking first through Kytnerova street, then Medlanska, Vazneho and Hapalova street all the way to the train station Brno- Reckovice. Follow along the rails, through the street called Cupakova to the street Jandaskova, where you need to turn right and go under the railroad and continue to Mokra Hora. Attention: behind the memorial and the bell tower you must turn right between the houses. The blue marking will lead you to the checkpoint K6 – crossroad Rakovec, Sokolsky snack. Then continue still on the blue marking through the village called Oresin, continue to the crossroad „Horka”, where you need to turn left. Continue to the left and follow the green marking to the pub „U Jelinka”, where you turn left and continue to the checkpoint K4 – Lelkovadlo. Go up to the ridge of „Babi Lom” following the red marking. Turn left and follow the ridge until you get to the lookout tower „Babi Lom” (newly restored). Then following the red marking, descend to the village called Lelekovice and turn right at the hotel „Babi Lom”, following the yellow marking through „Hlavni” street to the train station „Ceska”. Then follow the red marking on the bridge across the railroad and the road. On the main road, turn right and behind the pub „Pod Lipou” turn left, along the playground to the checkpoint K2 – Pod Sychrovem. Then follow the yellow marking to the crossroad „Pod Chocholou”, turn right on the blue marking through the crossroad „Nad Kopaninami” that will lead us to the neighbourhood Brno – Kninicky. Finally turn left behind the bridge and following the current of the river Svratka, go the march destination.

39,8 km
